September 1, 2011

Location: Bogota, Colombia
Weather: Cloudy
Mood: reallly excited...hehehe

Forget your Coach purse. Put away your Kate Spade. Even Hermes's famous Birkin bag seems positively discount. The Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork is this summer's ultimate status bag, ringing in at $52,500. And it is arriving in Washington by the end of the season, ordered by a woman whose circumstances and identity the company has ever so politely (again and again) declined to disclose. The company made the bag that special not only by price tag and design -- 14 LV bags were cut up and sewn together to make it -- but also by offering only five for sale in North America and 24 worldwide. I know R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles’ got one. The other four? Their names have not been revealed. Anyway, this is going to sound really ridiculous to those of you who haven't watched leap year, which btw you totally should, but I'm buying a Louis!!!! Not a huge one like the one Anna Brady had, just a cabin bag, and of course not the $52,500 LV Tribute patchwork, trust me, if I had won the lottery you would know, because I would have taken the next plane out and would have stopped mysteriously blogging! (Now every time I don’t blog don’t think I’ve won the lottery, because I haven’t. How do I know I’m not going to win it? Because I don’t buy lottery tickets; that’s why.) So I’m not rich and I’m buying my very subtle mini luggage at an outlet super discount store, but whatever! Louis is Louis!! I just found this fabulous outlet and it's going to be great because my pink cabin bag broke which was absolutely heartbreaking but, moving on, I'M GETTING A LOUIS!!! So that should be fun. But after a lot of meditation I decided I have to control myself and order it so it arrives at Orlando, while I'm there in October (OMG I'm going to Orlando!!!) and not get it shipped here because well, it's much too expensive, right? So now I really want to get on that plane. BTW, Have I told you I'm spending new years in NYC? 'Cos I am and I can just picture myself walking into JFK with my Louis Vuitton saying "HELLOOOO NEW YORK!!" haha OK enough with the brand publicity. Let's get down to business. The weather's a dumbfall, I'm most likely not going out, and if I don, I'm driving. I'm not seeing B today (soccer). I'm not seeing anyone else either (my hair is at it's worst - tomorrow it'll all be over, thank God.) IT'S THE PERFECT DAY TO WEAR REALLY HIGH STILETTOS WHICH I CAN'T WALK IN! Why do I have them, then you might ask? Because they're pretty, and at the time I thought I aught to learn how to walk in heels. (I mean, I know how to walk in heels, but 4" heels, not 100"!) Anyway, so I thought it was a good idea at the time.... And as long as I'm confessing stuff, I'm really regretting this whole I HAVE TO WEAR ALL  OF MY SHOES BEFORE I CAN REPEAT rubbish. I mean it's a good lesson for me not to buy shoes I'm not going to wear. I've even decided which shoes I'm giving away when I move out (it's not happening yet, don't freak out - or those of you who want the shoes, don't get excited just yet.) I just figured why have shoes I'm never going to wear. I know stilettos are fashionable, but I'm just not a stiletto gal. I'm a ballet flat type. Of course I'm not giving away all my heel shoes. Just a couple. Maybe even the ones I'm going to wear today... who knows... They're really pretty. REALLY REALLY PRETTY. But... I don't know. I'll think about it when the time comes. By now you must really be wondering which shoes I'm talking about... Well... I kind of have two in mind. So just let me think about it for a bit... Ok, I love these shoes, but they are seriously high. I've gone for my taupe Stradivarius mary jane heels. The're trully something... something WAY to high! hahaha. Anyway, jeand, white T, taupe matching handbag and a taupe sweater. If it fits, wear it! ;) Lov ya guys (I'm talking to my shoes...) -Rx.
